Senior Recognition Sunday

Psalm 90:12

This Sunday, we celebrate our graduating high school seniors in the context of thanking God for their lives and for their futures as they offer us words concerning the next chapter of their lives. Our Pre-K and Kindergarten choir will begin our morning worship reminding us how so many of our seniors began their journey in our church as kids. Our Youth Handbells and Tribe and Youth Choir will then encourage the seniors with songs of praise to God before Dolores Rader offers a message of hope from the Psalms focused on how we use, steward, and wisely reckon with the gift of time with which God blesses us. Join us this Sunday to provide your support to our graduating seniors as we worship together.

Monday Over Coffee: "Solar System"

I recently visited the Houston Museum of Natural Science with a group from church, triggering a memory of something that happened to me long ago. Competitive in nature, I carefully studied the list on the bus, and as soon as we unloaded, I rushed…

Food Pantry Sunday

Food Pantry Sunday

On the first Sunday of each month, we collect items most sought after in our community and deliver them to the Emergency Aid Coalition. Nonperishable goods such as canned fruit, peanut butter, canned meat, and water are always in need. If it is your preference, you can check this link to order directly from Amazon and to determine what is most needed at this time. Thank you for supporting this important ongoing ministry.

Senior Blessing Service

On Sunday, May 5, we celebrate the final Family Ministry milestone with the Class of 2024. On this day, we recognize their journey thus far—the good gifts they have been given, the families who have loved them well, the people who have come along the way to guide them, and the incredible young adults God has crafted them to be. We mark the milestone and transition with blessing on them and their future plans.
